Notes: All families must be referred to RMH from a social worker, doctor, or nurse at the Phoenix hospital at which they will be seen. Ronald McDonald House® is a temporary home-away-from-home where the families of children being treated for serious illnesses or trauma reside while the child receives treatment at a nearby hospital or medical center. There is a large kitchen, dining rooms, living rooms, library, playroom and laundry facilities .
Children Policy: The child must be under the age of 21. The child must be either an inpatient at a hospital or an outpatient receiving daily treatment. Individuals under the age of 18 may not stay at the House unless accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.

Rate Details: There is no charge to stay, however $15 per room per night is suggested.Cleaning deposit. (This fee is payable upon check-in and will be refunded upon check-out if the room is properly cleaned.) but may be adjusted or waived due to financial need. The child receiving treatment at a local medical facility (whether inpatient or outpatient) must not have reached their 22nd birthday. The child’s permanent residence must be outside a 30-mile radius of the Ronald McDonald House..
Booking Instructions: Call a social worker in advance to be placed on a waiting list. Contact Social Work by calling (602) 546-2273. Families are required to live at least 30 miles from the hospital to be eligible to stay at the Ronald McDonald House. Reservations are dependent upon room availability, and must be arranged through a social worker.
