Notes: The American Cancer Society B. Thomas Golisano Hope Lodge Hospitality House is a home away from home for patients, family members and caregivers that must travel to Rochester for treatment. This Hope Lodge features 30 guest rooms, common kitchen and dining area as well as a common lounge on each floor with cable TV. There is a library, outdoor terrace with picnic tables and grill, free laundry facilities, and free transportation to and from treatment (cancer patients only). Guest must be referred by their social worker.

Rate Details: Limited availability. Hope Lodge is available to patients and caregivers actively undergoing cancer treatment on an outpatient basis. Patients must live at least 40-50 miles or a one-hour drive time away from the treatment facility. Patients must be at least 18 years old (exceptions are made at some locations) and be independently mobile in the event of an emergency. Patients are not screened for any financial or demographic criteria.
Booking Instructions: To stay at the Hope Lodge you must have a properly completed, written referral signed by a physician, social worker or other healthcare professional. The referral must state the treatment type, frequency and the projected start and end dates.
Requirement Level: Healthcare Facility (HCF) must contact the lodging facility
