General Information

Notes: "Home away from home" for children and their families who come to Lexington for medical treatment.The House now has 20 bedrooms, each with a private bath. Both indoor and outdoor play-spaces are available for our young guests. However the House does not provide baby-sitting services, so parents are responsible for supervising their children whenever they are in the House or on the grounds. Van transportation is provided to and from local hospitals three times per day.
Children Policy: The Lexington Ronald McDonald House serves families of children 18 years and under that are being treated by local hospitals. Up to four immediate family members may stay in a room. Because of space limitations, only one room is available per family.

Rate: $10.00 USD / daily
Effective Dates: January 1, 2011 until December 31, 2026
Room Type: Room with private bath
Rate Details: Suggested donation is $10 per night, however no family is turned away if they can not afford to pay.
Booking Instructions: Families staying at the Lexington Ronald McDonald House for the first time must be referred by a physician or hospital personnel. The House does not take advance reservations. If you're interested in staying , talk to your doctor or hospital staff about securing a room. They will call with a referral the day the room is needed.
Requirement Level: Healthcare Facility (HCF) must contact the lodging facility
