- Notes: The Doorways provides a healing, emotionally supportive environment for those who need to be close to the hospital but not far from the feeling of “home.” We’re Richmond’s premier provider of temporary lodging to patients and their families referred through our participating Richmond-area hospital partners. The house has 112 private rooms with baths, dedicated floors for pediatric and transplant patients, fully stocked kitchens, pantry and family dining rooms, TV lounges, a library, chapel, fitness room and 24-hour laundry room.
- Children Policy: Children must be at least 14 years of age, unless child is a patient staying on the pediatric floor.

- Rate: $15.00 USD / daily
- Effective Dates: January 1, 2010 until December 31, 2026
- Room Type: Private Bedroom
- Rate Details: A $15.00 donation per day is suggested but not required if there is financial need. There is also a $30 refundable deposit. All guests must complete a health screen questionnaire..
- Booking Instructions: Guests may stay at the Doorways if a doctor, nurse, patient representative or hospital administrator from a participating hospital provides a referral.. Referrals are necessary to make sure rooms are available to those in need. If you have requested a referral from your health care provider please call The Doorways to confirm the receipt of your referral.
