Notes: The Longfellow Park house is the newest of the three in Kansas City and has 29 regular rooms and 12 extended stay rooms. In the house there are bath and shower facilities as well as a fully stocked kitchen and laundry facility. The house has a TV lounge, reading room, porch, and grill. Most meals are provided by community members who donate food to the home, hence grocery shopping occurs on a limited basis. There is enough off-street parking for one car per family and the house has a computer with internet access for anyone to use in the house.
Children Policy: In order to stay in the house the patient must be 18 years of age or younger but may be accompanied by as many as 5 family members.

Rate: $10.00 USD / daily
Effective Dates: January 1, 2010 until December 31, 2026
Room Type: Bedroom
Rate Details: The rate of $10 is required but if you are unable to pay, no family is ever turned away for financial difficulties.
Booking Instructions: Call the social work department at your hospital and get them to make the reservation. In order to stay in the house the patient must be a child 18 years of age or younger but may be accompanied by up to 5 family members. Priority is given to families living more than 35 miles outside of Kansas City and patients must be referred by a social worker or nurse.
