Notes: "A-Home-Away-From-Home" for families who must travel at least 30 miles to seek medical treatment for their child. The Sacramento Ronald McDonald House is a 20-bedroom facility. There are 16 single bedrooms, 2 two bedroom extended stay apartments and 2 fully accessible rooms. Family members will have their own bedrooms and bathroom and share common kitchen, living and laundry facilities with special rooms set up with toys and computers for the children. The House offers parents and family members of seriously ill and injured children a refuge from the hospital room.
Children Policy: Yes, 18 years and younger.

Rate: $20.00 USD / daily

Rate Details: Families may stay up to 30 days depending upon availability. Each family is asked to donate $20 per night or whatever portion they can afford. No one is ever turned away for their inability to pay. If a family is unable to pay any portion of their stay, the funds from the Adopt-A-Family Program will subsidize the cost.
Booking Instructions: All admissions to the Sacramento Ronald McDonald House are initiated by a hospital health care individual (doctor, nurse, social worker) from any one of the five local hospitals – University of California Davis Medical Center, Shriners, Sutter, Kaiser or Mercy.
