- Notes: All families must be referred to RMH from a social worker, doctor, or nurse at the Phoenix hospital at which they will be seen. Ronald McDonald House® is a temporary home-away-from-home where the families of children being treated for serious illnesses or trauma reside while the child receives treatment at a nearby hospital or medical center. This Ronald McDonald House has 18 rooms and four stories. The 17,300 square foot facility is just steps away from PCH and features a full-service kitchen, dining area, and family friendly activity room.
- Children Policy: The child receiving treatment at a local medical facility (whether inpatient or outpatient) must not have reached their 22nd birthday. The child’s permanent residence must be outside a 30-mile radius of the Ronald McDonald House.
