Notes: Located 2 blocks from Shands, the House has over 17,000 square feet of living space. 31 bedrooms with private baths, cable service and phones with voicemail. There are two kitchens. Shuttle transportation to and from medical facilities. For families whose children are being treated or evaluated at health care facilities of Shands Teaching Hospital and Clinics, Inc. or the University of Florida Clinics.
Children Policy: The patient must be 21 years of age or younger The patient must be accompanied by a parent/guardian over the age of 18.

Room Type: Private bedroom
Rate Details: House requests a donation of $15 for a night’s stay; no family is ever turned away because of their inability to pay.
Booking Instructions: You must be referred into the House by the hospital Admissions Office. Contact the Admissions Office to be placed on the RMH waiting list. You or the medical office must verify your appointment/treatment with a letter/fax (352-335-5325) or a call from the doctor’s office, CMS or social worker. This request is NOT A RESERVATION and does not guarantee your family a room. We want to know you are coming and will do our best to meet your request; however, we may be unable to accommodate your request.
