Notes: All guests must register before being admitted to the House. A referral from an attending hospital is required to complete the registration process. Priority is given to families of severely ill children (up to age 21) receiving treatment at local hospitals, either as in-patient or out-patient. Handicapped accessible kitchen , eat-in dining area, living room, library, TV lounge, sun room and patio. Play room and fenced in yard. Courtesy shuttle transportation to and from the Yale/New Haven Hospital

Rate: $15.00 USD / daily

Room Type: Bedroom
Rate Details: Cost requested is $15 per night. Maximum of five overnight family members to a room. All rooms are furnished with a TV/VCR, telephone and answering machine. Bathrooms are shared by other guests.
Booking Instructions: When requesting our services families must inform the staff at the healthcare facility where their child will be receiving treatment that family members will need temporary housing. Social workers, intake coordinators, physicians, nurses and patient relations personnel are the hospital staff that typically make referrals to the Ronald McDonald House. Families can not self refer. Registrations are accepted up to 4 weeks in advance of the anticipated day of arrival. Families are asked to call the House 24 hours before they plan to arrive to confirm their arrangements.
