Notes: The Ronald McDonald House of Indiana has two locations. The original location, on the campus of IUPUI, has 46 sleeping rooms plus six apartments designed especially for the needs of transplant patients and their families. Our “House at Riley,” inside Riley Hospital for Children, has six sleeping rooms for families with children in the most critical situations and also houses a day retreat, open to any family with an inpatient at Riley. Rate: $0.00 USD / daily
Effective Dates: January 1, 2011 until December 31, 2026
Room Type: Standard
Rate Details: Families are asked to donate $15 per night to help cover the cost of providing the room as well as a $5 key fee per key upon check-in. However, no family is ever turned away from a room due to an inability to pay for their stay. Due to the high demand for rooms and the fact that hospital discharge dates are uncertain, families are placed on our waiting list in the order in which the referral was received.
Booking Instructions: To make arrangements to stay at the Ronald McDonald House, families can either call the House directly or may be referred by a hospital staff person. After receiving referral information, the family is placed on the House's waiting list.
Requirement Level: Healthcare Facility (HCF) must contact the lodging facility
