- Notes: Conveniently located near several pediatric hospitals, including The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, our Chestnut Street location provides a temporary residence to families, offering the support of staff and volunteers. The house can serve 45 families each night, Amenities include dinners cooked every night and served at 6pm by volunteer Guest Chef groups, breakfast cooked and served on the weekends by our volunteer Guest Chef groups, complimentary coffee, tea, milk, and juice – available 24 hours a day. living room and lounges, and children's playrooms. - Rate: $25.00 USD / daily
- Effective Dates: January 1, 2023 until December 31, 2026
- Rate Details: Families are asked to pay a guest fee of $25.00 per night and we ask that payments be made on a weekly basis. No family is turned away due to inability to pay. Families must live more than 25 miles outside of Philadelphia. All overnight guests 18 years and older (including the patient) must complete a criminal history background check prior to staying at RMH
- Booking Instructions: Call or request online. Everyone who calls to make a room request is placed on a waiting list. When you call, we will ask you some basic information about yourself (name, address, phone number, etc.) and about your child (name, date of birth, reason for stay, name of hospital where he or she is receiving treatment, etc.). You can call or you can ask someone at the hospital (social worker, nurse, resource coordinator) to call on your behalf. Once you are on our room request list, we then ask you to call us on the day you plan to arrive to make sure that a room is available
