- Notes: Families whose children are receiving medical treatment at most pediatric hospitals in Philadelphia can stay at the PRMH while their child is in active treatment. Wheelchair accessible van service to Shriners Hospital (van service is based on driver availability.) Free parking at this location. 20 private, comfortable guest bedrooms - 13 with private standard bathrooms and 7 with wheelchair accessible bathrooms. Large kitchen and dining area.
- Children Policy: For families of children under 21 years of age. Any one 22 years of age or older is considered an adult and will not be turned away based on their age. Parents between the age of 18 and 21 may stay without an adult on a case by case basis, but we encourage them to bring an adult support person.
Rates and Conditions

- Rate: $25.00 USD / daily
- Effective Dates: January 1, 2023 until December 31, 2026
- Rate Details: Families are asked to pay a guest fee of $25.00 per night and we ask that payments be made on a weekly basis. Payment can be made by cash, check or credit card. Families who cannot afford the nightly fee are welcome to stay here but we ask them to meet with our social worker to review their financial situation.
- Booking Instructions: Call or request online, everyone who calls to make a room request is placed on a waiting list. When you call, we will ask you some basic information about yourself (name, address, phone number, etc.) and about your child (name, date of birth, reason for stay, name of hospital where he or she is receiving treatment, etc.). You can call or you can ask someone at the hospital (social worker, nurse, resource coordinator) to call on your behalf. Once you are on our room request list, we then ask you to call us on the day you plan to arrive to make sure that a room is available
