- Notes: Located on the campus of Avera McKennan Hospital & University Health Center. Walsh Family Village is for families and patients (in or out patient) at Avera McKennan. To be eligible to stay at Walsh Family Village, patients or families must live farther than 30 miles from Sioux Falls, be able to provide for personal needs or with the assistance of a family member or caregiver, and be referred by a hospital social work. Rooms have one or two queen sized beds. Kitchen and laundry. Smoke free, alcohol free and no pets policy to provide a healthy and clean environment for guests.

- Rate Details: The cost for staying at the Walsh Family Village is a suggested donation of $50. No patient or family will be turned away based on inability to pay. Guest must live at least 25 miles away. Guests must be able to meet their own personal needs or can be assisted by a family member or other caregiver.
- Booking Instructions: All guests must be referred by a hospital social worker.
- Requirement Level: Healthcare Facility (HCF) must contact the lodging facility
