- Notes: IMD Guest House Foundation, a non-profit organization provides affordable accommodations for patients/families receiving care at partner hospitals or cancer care at a Chicago hospital. IMDGH operates 16 guestrooms, 6 dedicated for use by cancer patients. Located on the campus of the Univ. of Illinois Chicago. Each private apartment suite has a queen bed, queen sleeper sofa, kitchenette with cooking utensils and appliances, bathroom, basic cable and wireless internet. Towels and linens included. - Rate Details: Rates for Guest House accommodations are provided at a standard nightly rate of $72. There is a one-time $45 cleaning fee. This fee will be included with your first payment. The cleaning fee is not eligible for financial assistance. No qualified patient from our partner hospitals is turned away from Guest House because of inability to pay a nightly rate.Patients getting treatment at Rush University Medical Center, University of Illinois Hospital or John H. Stroger Hospital of Cook County are welcome.
- Booking Instructions: Contact your hospital or social worker for a referral; they can help make sure it is a good fit for you If a suite is available, upon receiving a referral from a hospital or social worker, our staff will confirm your reservation and contact you to make arrangements. If a suite is not available, we will add you to the wait list and contact you or your social worker as soon as a suite becomes available.
