- Notes: Hospitality Apartments provides rent-free temporary housing (up to 3 months) and a safe, comfortable, environment for patients and caregivers. Apartments are tended by volunteers. Units are one bedroom, fully furnished and constructed for medical patients. Units include 2 twin beds, sofa and recliner, kitchen, private bath and TVs. Laundry facilities and a community room are in the complex. Patients must live more than 50 miles away from the Texas Medical Center. Caregiver 24/7 during the entire stay is required. - Children Policy: Children under 18 are not allowed to live at Hospitality Apartments unless they are the patient. They may visit three nights per month.

- Rate Details: There is no rent for these apartments. The only cost is a $100 cleaning fee, payable by cash or check upon check-in. Minimum stay is 2 weeks; maximum stay is 3 months. Apartment is meant for 2 people. (Permission is sometimes granted for a maximum of 3 guests.).There are no restrictions based on gender, patient age, religion, national origin, financial status or language (however, patient or caregiver must speak English).
- Booking Instructions: Contact Hospitality Apartments directly. Free temporary housing (up to three months) and a welcoming, supportive environment for out-of-town (more than 50 miles from Houston) medical center patients and their caregivers. Reservations are not available, but callers may place their names on a waiting list. There is a LONG waiting list (can be in excess of 3 months)
