- Notes: Located in a quiet suburb of Houston, Texas approximately 38 minutes from MD Anderson. Hope Cancer Retreat (HCR) consists of 4 cottages(2 - 1 bedroom cottages, and 2- 2 bedroom). Each cottage has an entertainment center with TV/DVD/VCR, refrigerator, stove, and microwave. Computer with Internet in the main house. HCR is not sponsored by any individual church or denomination. It is however, a faith based organization. "A place to heal". In addition there are 2 "Suites" which are like a hotel rooms with recliners. No kitchens in the suites. These are for short term stays.
