- Notes: A Fisher House™ is "a home away from home" for families of patients receiving medical care at major military and VA medical centers. Each house is designed to provide eight to 21 suites. All are professionally furnished and decorated in the tone and style of the local region. They feature a common kitchen, laundry facilities, spacious dining room and an inviting living room with library, and toys for children.

- Rate Details: Families do not pay to stay at a Fisher House. Fees at Army, Navy, and Air Force Fisher Houses are underwritten by Fisher House Foundation. To stay: Person receiving treatment must live more than 50 miles away using distance shown by MAPQUEST. 2. Veteran or active-duty member is admitted to Southeast Louisiana Veterans Health Care System Medical Center (SLVHCSMC). Guests must have a caregiver.
- Booking Instructions: All room fees for guest families at all Army, Navy, and Air Force Fisher Houses are paid by Fisher House Foundation. VA must refer.
