Notes: The Zachary and Elizabeth Fisher Houses are available to families who are coping with the medical crisis of a loved one and have no local accommodations. The Fisher House Foundation generously provides a grant to pay lodging fees at the Fisher Houses.The Houses are located at the Northeast end of Naval Medical Center San Diego adjacent to the Chapel and Bldg 6. All guest rooms have TVs, phones w/ answering system, remote controlled ceiling lights and fan, cleaning caddies, clothes hampers and laundry baskets, private bathrooms with hair dryers, linens, towels, soaps, lotions, and shampoo.

Rate Details: There is no fee to stay at Fisher House. Houses are for military, vets, and family members only. The Fisher House accommodates families who need to be close to loved ones undergoing treatment as an inpatient at Naval Medical Center San Diego. The house is available to families who have no local accommodations for a maximum of 30 days. Families are admitted on a first come-first served basis.
Booking Instructions: Referral may be prepared by Physicians, Nurses, Chaplains, Social Workers, American Red Cross, Case Managers or Patient Administration. Referral Forms are available at each nurses' station
Requirement Level: Healthcare Facility (HCF) must contact the lodging facility
