Notes: The Miami VAHS Fisher House is "a home away from home" for families of Veterans and military service members receiving care at the Bruce W. Carter VA Medical Center. The House is a 15,000 square foot home with 20 private guest suites. The House includes a common kitchen, a spacious common dining room, a communal family and living room, large laundry facility with multiple washers and dryers, wireless internet, and in room telephone service.
Children Policy: Children of any age are welcome at the Fisher House provided that they are supervised at all times.

Rate Details: There is no fee to stay at Fisher House. The House is for families of veterans and military serivce.Fisher House lodging is on a first come, first served basis and reservations are not accepted. A room cannot be guaranteed on the request check-in date. Families requesting to stay at the Fisher House should have back up lodging plans in case a room is not available.
Booking Instructions: A referral must be placed by the Veteran’s social worker for all individuals wishing to stay at the Fisher House. Family members seeking Fisher House lodging should contact the Veteran’s social worker.
Requirement Level: Healthcare Facility (HCF) must contact the lodging facility
