- Notes: The American Cancer Society, in a cooperative effort with hotels across the country, provides overnight accommodations to cancer patients who must travel for outpatient treatment and need assistance with lodging. All accommodations are provided based on eligibility requirements and are subject to availability and restrictions imposed by the hotels. Requests are met on a first-come, first-served basis and must be submitted at least two-weeks prior to the date lodging is needed. Special requests, such as pet-friendly hotels and provided shuttle services, will be taken into consideration.
