Notes: Project Joy and Hope (PJH) is a "home away from home" for families with seriously ill children who are receiving treatment at the Texas Medical Center. PJH provides temporary housing to families who live away from care centers when a child attends hospital for inpatient or outpatient treatment, awaits (or recovers) an organ transplant or needs to access palliative care. Other services, such as sibling programs, parent to parent support, and legal help available. This gated community consists of twelve completely furnished 3 bedroom/2 bath duplex style units. There is a playground.

Rate: $15.00 USD / daily

Effective Dates: January 1, 2021 until December 31, 2026
Room Type: 3 Bedroom Furnished Apartment
Rate Details: Rate is $15 based on a minimum stay of 90 days which equates to a service fees of $450 per month. There is a $250 non refundable deposit required. Guest agreement is for 90 days. Families may apply to be considered for a 90 day extension. For pediatric patients up to age 22 and their families.
