- Notes: The Compassion Inn is a non-profit hospitality house designed to offer temporary lodging for out-of-town patients and families receiving care at one of our local medical centers: University of Michigan Hospital (Michigan Medicine), Veterans Administration Hospital and St. Joseph Mercy Hospital. Compassion Inn has been completely renovated, and has 3 private bedrooms, 2 shared bathrooms, kitchenette and can accommodate up to five guests. The first bedroom has a queen size bed and is on the main floor.. The second and third bedrooms are upstairs and have twin size beds. Shared kitchen.
