General Information
- Notes: Ronald McDonald House is a home away from home for families with sick children. Every night the house provides 20 families with a private room and bathroom, community living areas, large kitchen area and use of our fully stocked pantry. Each evening there is a complete dinner for families. Hospital Security provides door-to-door service to our families 24-hours per day.
- Children Policy: Welcomes families that have a child being treated at Akron Children’s Hospital (ACH) or Akron General Medical Center Special Care Nursery (operated by ACH).

- Rate Details: For to families that have a child being treated at Akron Children’s Hospital (ACH) or Akron General Medical Center Special Care Nursery (operated by ACH). The rate of $20 is requested but if you are unable to pay, no family is ever turned away for financial difficulties. A room request is not a reservation. The house works off a waiting list.
- Booking Instructions: Please call 330-253-5400 from 9 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. to request a room, this is a request, not a reservation. You will be put on a waiting list.
