Notes: The mission of Nora's Home is to offer affordable lodging for pre and post SOLID transplant patients and their families who travel to any of the Texas Medical Center transplant centers. Patients/Guests may be in Houston for either inpatient hospital care or outpatient therapeutic care - solid organ transplant patients only. Nora's Home has 16 private bedrooms and baths, a fully equipped kitchen, a great room, a chapel, a community room, an education center and free shuttle services to the medical center.

Rate Details: Small fee to stay For all guests, household income is taken into consideration when determining the nightly rate. Upon completion of the Resident Referral Form, the rate will be quoted. For solid transplant patients and families only. Space cannot be guaranteed for a particular date, so making alternative arrangements is strongly recommended. Length of stay can be 1 to 90 days depending on availability. Reservations can be made up to 60 days in advance
Booking Instructions: An initial referral must come from a member of the transplant team: a physician, transplant coordinator, charge nurse, social worker, or chaplain. After this referral has been received, the patient or family member may contact Nora’s Home directly to discuss lodging availability.
Requirement Level: Healthcare Facility (HCF) must contact the lodging facility
