General Information
- Notes: The Ronald McDonald House – Chicago Avenue serves families with children receiving treatment in an Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at Children’s Hospitals and Clinics in Minneapolis. It is adjacent to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) and is our first Ronald McDonald House located inside a hospital, as well as the first program of its kind in the state of Minnesota. For families in need of overnight lodging (referrals are through a hospital social worker), the House offers 15 private rooms (including two suites), each with its own bathroom. Evening meals are prepared by volunteers.
- Children Policy: Families that have a child (19 or younger) who is receiving care in one of the Intensive Care Units at Childrens’ Hospital.

- Rate Details: Families are asked to pay $60, however no family is every turned away due to their inability to pay. Some meals included.
