Notes: Halo House Foundation is a non-profit organization serving people with blood cancers (leukemia, lymphoma, and myeloma )with housing during the patient's stay in Houston. Halo House has 29 one-bedroom apartments and four two-bedroom apartments available for guests. Each apartment also has a living room, a fully equipped kitchen, and a counter-top eating area. Furnishings include two TVs, linens, kitchen utensils, kitchen appliances, full sized washer and dryer, alarm clock, coffee maker, microwave. Basic cable and internet service are also provided. Shuttle service.

Rate: $25.00 USD / daily
Effective Dates: May 1, 2019 until December 31, 2026
Room Type: Apartment
Rate Details: Nightly rate is $25 for one bedroom, $35 for two per day with a one-time cleaning fee of $85, and a security deposit of $100. Two week minimum. Three months maximum. Halo House is available for children and adults who are undergoing active treatment for leukemia, lymphoma, and myeloma and live 50 miles outside of Houston or for stem cell transplant patients who live more than 25 miles from the Texas Medical Center and show a letter from their doctor requiring them to live within 15 minutes of the hospital. Booking Instructions: Patients with leukemia, lymphoma, and myeloma only. To apply and get put on the waitlist, please log onto website: www.halohousefoundation.org.There is approximately a 3 month wait list. and apartments are offered based on earliest application date.
