Notes: Ronald McDonald House is a "home away from home" or families and children who are being treated at one of the Texas Medical Center member hospitals. The main house on Holcombe Blvd has 70 bedrooms with two queen beds a full private bath. There is gated parking and a shuttle to the Texas Med Center hospitals. The House also has a Houston Independent School District school room for patients and school bus transportation for siblings to area public schools.. There is also a house inside Texas Children's Hospital (TCH) a home with 20 bedrooms and also a house inside Children's Memorial Hermann Hos
Children Policy: For families of patients age 21 or younger only.

Effective Dates: January 1, 2011 until December 31, 2026

Rate Details: Requested rate - $25.00 per night., however no family is turned away due to their inability to pay. A family may be admitted to the House for a maximum of forty-five (45) days. After 45 days the family must check out for a period of seven (7) days and then may be eligible for re-admission. There are background checks done on guests 18 and older.
Booking Instructions: First time families must be referred by a Health Care Provider or State Social Worker. A valid ID and permanent address is required for check-in.
Requirement Level: Healthcare Facility (HCF) must contact the lodging facility
